Estonia and Latvia

You can do a round trip ferry ride to 3 of the islands from Helsinki's Market Square. Some of the popular islands to visit are: Pihlajasaari which is actually two islands separated by a wooden footbridge and only 2km from Helsinki City Centre; Suomenlinna which is an old sea fortress island and a UNESCO World Heritage site; and nearby Lonna which is a tiny island you can walk around in 10 minutes.
